TAT INITIATES ONE-STOP ONLINE INTELLIGENCE CENTRE FOR THAI TOURISM INDUSTRY

In recognition of the vital role that information technology increasingly plays in tourism marketing, particularly online marketing, the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) initiated a one-stop online intelligence centre for the Thai tourism industry that can be easily accessed via its URL:http://www.etourisminsight.com/

Promoted as Thailand’s first online travel intelligence portal, eTourismInsight.com is designed to provide the entire travel supply chain with the latest industry insights in order to increase the competitiveness of the Thai tourism industry in the digital age. The full range of content includes news, knowledge, information, research, industry reports, world tourism industry trends, global and regional e-marketing strategies and latest developments.

eTourismInsight.com is being promoted to travel-related organizations through online as well as traditional media.

Bangkok-based Born Distinction Co., Ltd., an online e-marketing specialist, is responsible for the development of the portal site and also oversees content management. eTourismInsight.com has been in operation since April 2007.

TAT’s Marketing Information Technology Group and the Information Technology Department are the project champions.
